Do you only care for cats and dogs?

Out For A Walk cares for cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits and even Pygmy Goats!

How long are visits?

*Dog walk times vary from 20 minute potty breaks to 45 minute dog walks.

*Cat sitting visits are 25-30 minutes in length.

*Visit times are approximate and subject to change based on the needs of all pets under Pet Sitter’s care. Pet Sitter is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pet(s) and home, in the event of an emergency situation, inclement weather or natural disaster.


What is the process for hiring you?

What is the payment process?

Out For A Walk accepts credit cards for services rendered. Payment for services are charged weekly to the credit card on file the first day of set appointments.

Are there any additional costs involved?

Holiday fee is $10 per visit for major holidays, which include: MLK Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

What is your cancellation policy?

Out For A Walk asks that a 24 hour notice be given for cancellations, when possible or the latest by 9AM the day of your scheduled visit. Schedule changes may be directed to Out For A Walk’s business line – (213) 219-0466 or by email at –

I am worried about giving someone the keys and access to my home. How am I protected?

We completely understand! Out For A Walk and its Team are Background checked, Insured and Bonded. Some Pet Parents prefer a lockbox – that way your key never leaves the premises.
